At the age of six, Myron was on a holiday with his family on the East Coast. He sat on the shore in St John's NL overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and said “If only I could sail, I would sail to our family in Europe on just only wind power".
The next year he took sailing lessons at FortWhyte and was hooked!
Last year after one more week at FortWhyte he attended a learn to race week in Gimli. That is when he was invited to sail in the Centennial Cup, in the opti fleet.
This year, at the age of ten, he joined the Manitoba Race Team. He is very excited to improve his sailing and racing skills and learn from his teammates and coach.
When Myron isn't sailing, he loves to travel with his family, be active in his scout group and play his cornet. He is fascinated by sustainable engineering and the science behind boats.
