Wolfe has been sailing for over 40 years in vessels ranging from Lasers to 50 ft. ocean going cruising vessels. Since retiring from business, in 2014, and his career as a trainer and lean facilitator Wolfe and his wife Luann have been cruising southern waters every winter. For 5 to 6
months they spend their time on their 38 ft. Morgan, Easy Goin’, cruising Florida, Bahamas, and the Caribbean. During the summer months Wolfe and Luann spend time on their 34 Ft C&C, Resolute, in Gimli. Wolfe typically sails in excess of 3000 Nm / year.

In 2001 he officially opened his cruising school, Prairie Ocean Cruising. Since opening he has taught hundreds of individuals at various levels in various course offerings based on their needs and requirements. With Wolfe’s depth of experience, easy going manner, commitment to training and the sport of sailing he creates a fun and rewarding environment for learning.

Primarily operating out of Gimli and sailing on Lake Winnipeg, Wolfe offers many challenges to sailors at every experience level and helps them develop and hone their skills.
