To avoid the events happening in Gimli to treat the Zebra Mussels the team moved their team training for the month of June to Falcon Lake.  Car pooling and accommodations at no fee is set up for all athletes. Contact Brigitte for more info.

Laser Team at the Regina Short Course Championship

Five of our Laser sailors participated at the Laser Short Course Championships on the long weekend in Regina. The weather couldn’t have been better for a season starter event. Congratulations to Colin Krawchuk for winning the Radial event, Anthony Clark for second 16&under, Kayden Polachek for third 16&under and Molly Ingenmey for second female.  Shelby Williams is currently enrolled in a coaching mentorship program and joined us for some coaching development. 

 

Four Lake Winnipeg Harbours will be off Limits to boaters and Commercial fishers this spring under a government plan to wipe out an infestation of Zebra mussels in one fell swoop.   Read more…
