Sail Manitoba’s ‘Sweet Deal’

After a most generous donation of a lightning fast Carrera 290 from the Leech family in Brandon we are now able to offer a keelboat racing program. A slip was sponsored by Geoff Penner from Silver Harbour and a survey done by George Bush. We are now getting the boat ready for Wednesday night racing at the Gimli YC. We have reserved spots for the following groups: Women only, Provincial Team, Parents, Alumni, Executive, Men’s, Women’s and Club Race Night.  If you or your club is interested to race with a team of five on our Carrera please send an email to sailing@sportmanitoba.ca or register online at Keelboat Racing.  A contribution of $20 per sailor will go towards the equipment fund.

A VHF and an Endorsement for Existing License Course is scheduled on Monday June 17+24  at the Sport for Life Centre.  To register go to VHF course registration

A certification and re-certification course for Emergency First Aid and CPR is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25  in the evening from 5pm – 9pm at the Sport for Life Centre. The fee for the manual is $25, payable to the instructor,  for students who take the full certification course.
